    I have admired the Armstrong Askews bakery for producing good products for some time. What has gone wrong? This morning I bought an Apple Fritter for $3.14. On arriving home I opened the bag to find a sugar coated lump of dough with NO apple that was slightly larger than a toonie! They just lost at least one customer.

    I have been a customer of the bakery in the Armstrong Bakery in Askews for many years.
    Yesterday we travelled to Armstrong and bought a Fruit bread in the Bakery. I have to admit for the past few years since the bakery has been taken over by new owners the fruit bread has gone downhill. It was very dry, little fruit and burnt! What fruit was in the bread was very small pieces! I also bought a walnut cinnamon bread and hope it is better than the fruit bread.
